When Girl Noticed began in 2015, temporary murals were created in charcoal, sending the message, “there is a window of time to notice the value of a girl before that very thing or the girl may fade away.” Today with the growing popularity of murals and the recognition of the impact they can make, Girl Noticed murals are now painted. These murals may still be temporary in nature, but no longer must be and can serve as a lasting reminder to notice the girl.
Girl Noticed has noticed over 50 girls and women in 15 states.
The following are photos of murals we have created and some of the places we have been.
